C.H. Spurgeon (1834–1892) was an English Particular Baptist preacher widely regarded as the “Prince of Preachers”. As the longtime pastor of the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, he became one of the most famous figures of the Victorian era known for his powerful oratory, strict Calvinist theology, and literary output.
