John Frame (1939) is a retired, influential Evangelical theologian known for his work in epistemology, apologetics, systematic theology, and ethics. He is Professor Emeritus at Reformed Theological Seminary. He is known for his “triperspectival” epistemology and defines theology as applying God’s revelation to life. His writings include the four-volume Theology of Lordship series, Systematic Theology, and Apologetics to the Glory of God. A student of Cornelius Van Til, he has influenced theologians like Tim Keller and John Piper. He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America.
