John Owen (1616–1683) was an English Puritan theologian often called the “Prince of Puritans”. Known for his immense intellectual depth, he’s one of the most influential figures in Reformed theology. He has been cited as a primary influence by modern theologians such as J.I. Packer and Sinclair Ferguson.
