R.C. Sproul (1939–2017) was an American Reformed theologian, Christian apologist, and Presbyterian pastor. Sproul was the founder of Ligonier Ministries and dedicated his life to Christian education aiming to bridge the gap between Sunday school learning and theological seminary level Bible knowledge.
