John Gerstner (1914–1996) was an American Reformed theologian, church historian, and classical apologetics professor widely regarded as the foremost authority on the life and theology of Jonathan Edwards. He is perhaps most famous for being the primary mentor to R.C. Sproul, the founder of Ligonier Ministries.
